In addition to classroom work, students are given opportunities to perform in our annual recital in the spring and in Aspen Santa Fe Ballet's production of The Nutcracker, at Aspen District Theatre, alongside professional dancers. We consider performance opportunities a valuable part of training and invaluable to the growth of the student; developing stage presence, musicality, discipline and confidence.

As many of you know, it is a tradition in the dance world to give flowers to dancers after a performance.
We will be offering flower sales again as a fundraiser for our Scholarship Program. This year scholarships have helped many students in both the ballet school and Mexican Folkdance program. If you would like to celebrate your child’s accomplishments in this year’s recital by purchasing flowers, please fill out the form below and turn it in no later than May 7th. We must place our flower order no later than May 9th. Late orders will not be able to be fulfilled. A limited selection of flowers will be available for purchase the day of the performance.
Bouquets will be made up of roses, baby’s breath, neatly wrapped in a plastic sleeve with a card with your child’s name. Roses will come in a variety of colors. We apologize but we cannot accommodate requests for specific colors of flowers in a bouquet.
DVDs of the performance can be ordered here. Please note the following restictions on sharing via social media. Purchasing a DVD implies that you agree to the following paragraph:
I agree that I, my family, and friends will not upload any material from this DVD to online sites including but not limited to Youtube, Facebook, Vimeo, Instagram and any other similar social media sharing sites as this could be a breach of copyright. I agree that I or my child will not teach or perform any class choreography outside of the May 19-21 ASFB performances without written permission from the teacher/choreographer.
