THE SCHOOL OF ASPEN SANTA FE BALLET
The School of Aspen Santa Fe Ballet operates at the core of a multifaceted arts organization. From its beginning when Founder Bebe Schweppe taught ballet in a small Aspen studio, the school has expanded to year-round classes in Aspen, Basalt, Carbondale, Santa Fe, and Eldorado, teaching more than 400 students of all ages.
Offering a curriculum of ballet, jazz and modern dance, The School of Aspen Santa Fe Ballet provides quality training for the pre-professional student as well as the recreational dancer and has guided many young dancers into professional careers. The school fosters a supportive environment that enhances confidence and accomplishment as well as technique and artistry. Students perform in an annual spring recital, and alongside ASFB's professional dancers in The Nutcracker. To ensure that every child who wishes to dance can do so, ASFB awards over $30,000 in needs-based scholarships every year.
